How this page is drawn: every point of light, including the glowing disk and the worlds, is placed by tracing its real path past a non-spinning black hole, using Einstein’s equations. That is why worlds passing behind the hole stretch into arcs and rings. The worlds orbit much faster than real ones would, so you can watch them pass behind, and their shapes and colors are artistic.
